How much does an Accident Protection Subscription cost?

Accident Protection can be purchased from as little as $5/month, and increases with the number of seats you elect to cover. The beauty of the Accident Protection is that the cost is low, is charged monthly and can be customised to suit the furniture, car seats and mattresses that you most want to protect. Minimum term is 12 months. To understand how little it could cost to protect your furniture, visit the Accident Protection Subscription page to receive an instant quote.

Is there a minimum term for the Accident Protection Subscription?

Yes, the minimum term of a subscription is 12 months. After the 12 month period, any or all of the furniture under the subscription can be removed. New furniture can be added to your subscription at any time by logging into your account.

Why should I have Accident Protection on my furniture?

Accident Protection can be purchased from as little as $5/month. A bargain, considering the average repair cost to remove pen, nail polish or oil marks from food from a fabric or leather furniture is $250. Paying to fix just one incident yourself can exceed the cost of almost 4 years’ accident coverage where you will be entitled to ongoing repairs.

House and contents insurance is perfect to protect your house against major damage or incidents, but claiming for a repair on furniture caused by an accident or spill is going to cost you hundreds of dollars (via an excess bill). Accident Protection is not connected to your house insurance - it is cheaper and can be claimed against multiple times each year, without penalty.

Without Care Cover Accident Protection, your furniture is exposed to the risk of damage and stains that can be hugely expensive to repair.

The benefits of Care Cover Accident Protection are extensive, and the flexibility it offers you are second to none:

  • Completely customisable coverage - simply cover and pay for the furniture, mattresses or car interiors that you want to protect
  • All household leather and fabric furniture can be covered, regardless of existing condition
  • You're protected against genuine accidents and/or stains that occur to your furniture once coverage starts
  • Claims can be made multiple times each year, without penalty
  • A massive $500 in repairs/annum is allocated to each furniture piece/set
  • Additional pieces of furniture can be added to your coverage at any time
  • Coverage can be completed online in a few minutes
  • Monthly billing via a simple direct debit ensures affordability
  • All claims or queries will be answered by an Australian based customer care team
  • An extensive national network of highly trained leather and fabric repair professionals undertake claims quickly and to the highest standards
Does Accident Protection cover stains or damage that already exist on my furniture/car seat?

No. Accident Protection covers accidental damage and stains that occur after your coverage commences. When accidental damage or stains occur, you are required to make a claim with Care Cover within 5 days.
